Coverage Areas -
Focal Flight currently provides regular Construction Progress service to all of Southern California and the Las Vegas area. The coverage areas are defined by county -
Zone A
- All of Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Orange and San Diego Counties. The portions of Riverside and San Bernadino counties that are south of the Los Angeles County line and west of Banning Pass. The Las Vegas area.
Zone B
- All of San Louis Obisbo, Kern, Monterey, Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Monterey, San Benito, Fresno, Madera, Merced and Mariposa Counties
Zone C
- All of Imperial, Inyo and Mono counties and the portions of San Bernadino county that are not in Zone A.
LAX, SAN, SFO, LAS
- There are airspace restrictions around major airports that require special handling from air traffic control. If your site is within 20 miles of LAX, SAN, SFO or LAS airports, select that option on the geographic zone menu. We will analyze your site location and generate a quote based on the surrounding airspace.

A few more details about our construction progress service.
- We have a rain or shine policy. These packages are designed for regular project monitoring. We will photography your site as long as the weather allows safe operation of the aircraft; therefore, some shoots will be done under an overcast and some will be done in direct sunlight.
- Once a specific day of the month is established for monthly service, we will shoot your site within 5 days either side of the target date. For example, if your target date is the 15th of the month, we will shoot it between the 10th and the 20th. If a specific date is required to document a specific event, we can always accommodate such requests.
- Your site will be shot at one time of day; therefore, some views of the site will be front-lit, while others will be back-lit. If a specific time of day is required, please advise.
- The price quoted will remain in effect for the duration each individual project.
